70 Community Members Attend First Open House

Yesterday, nearly 70 people came out to participate in the first community open house as part of the St. John Corridors Plan. We were pleased to see so many residents interested and engaged this early in the planning process!

If you couldn’t make it, no problem – click here to view the full presentation.

The project team is working on synthesizing all the input collected and we will share a full summary here on the project website soon. Be sure you are subscribed for updates to receive an email when it’s published!

Please keep the ideas coming by posting to the online comment map. Thank you for your participation in the start of this community planning process – there’s more to come!

  1. I still wish there was a different solution to the roundabout on 101st and Calumet. I still don’t understand even if it’s placed south of 101st St the intersection is still going to need to be addressed. They were also continue to be more and more traffic as cars exit to 101st from the preserve.

  2. Keep the businesses on Rt. 41.We do need more stores and restaurants on Rt.41.The rest of St. John should be basically a residential community. Yes, we do need parks for the children too.
